Northern Michigan Weather
It's a beautiful day here today. In the 70's and no humidity. It feels so good, feels like Michigan weather, and the kids are all happy and feelin good. A perfect day for neighborhood baseball. Some of the kids didn't want their picture taken, boys of course! I love days like these with friends and family.

End of Summer!
First Day of school pictures! Started Tuesday, and is going wonderfully! The girls are having a blast! And I am too! I will post why I chose to homeschool and some end of summer ramblings later on, or maybe this weekend. I am to tired right now! My new schedule is going to take some getting used to. I am up at 5:00 am these days!

Kaylyn turned 9 August 31st! I can't believe it! She is so big now. I am so proud of her, she is quite mature for her age, she was very pleasant, and smiled as the workers at the restaurant we went to sang happy birthday to her, and she laughed at them because the song was so stupid! I thought she would run away in tears, ( I would have) But she sat there smiling! She got alot of nice things for her birthday, one of them being a guitar(on order) She is so excited to learn!

Rock Island ( A Rednecks Paradise)
If you like warm green water,
Little southern girls in your face saying "Hey wawtch iys" (Watch this ) as she shows you how she can hold her breath under water, all while a long green boogar hangs from her left nostril.
Strange men Yellin " It's a cooker!" Then breakin out in Billy Idol's "In the Midnight hour he cries, more, more, more!"
People stealing money out of your shorts! (One dollar and a Target reciept)!!!
And much more!
Come to Rock Island! A rednecks Paradise!
It was a nice day, and fun spending time together, but somehow it just doesn't compare to my childhood on the beaches of the pacific ocean or the beautiful beaches of Traverse City!
